Manuscript submission guidelines

Interpersona welcomes submission of original articles on all aspects of personal relationships from any academic discipline. Manuscripts will be sent anonymously for review by independent referees and so all material identifying the author should be confined to the title page.

Authors should preferably prepare their manuscripts in APA Style (see the most recent edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association - APA).

Manuscripts may be submitted in English (preferentially), French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Arabic (the six international languages recognized by the United Nations Organization), and also Portuguese, German, Italian, Persian, Japanese and Dutch. If approved for publication, authors are strongly advised to have the final version translated into English.

Manuscript submissions should ideally be 5,000-7,500 words and an Abstract (in English) of 100-150 words.

Each manuscript will be evaluated by an Editorial Board based on its relevance, clarity, originality and suitability for the journal.

Footnotes or endnotes, apart from the opening page Author Note and correspondence address, should not be used. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holders for reproducing any illustrations, tables, figures or lengthy quotations (100 words or more) previously published elsewhere.

Authors should also declare (if it is the case) that all ethical local regulations have been fully accomplished.

All manuscripts should be submitted only by e-mail to interpersona@interpersona.org as an attached file (preferentially in Word for Windows 6.0 or above).

Book Review Section

Interpersona will include reviews of the most recently published books in the field. Books and suggestions for reviews should be sent to:
